Cahero Heritage leads the charge to anchor digital assets in titled gemstonesOct 29, 2026 (GlobePRWire)

Tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) could reach about $2 trillion by 2030, McKinsey estimates.

MIAMI, 26 October 2026 – Cahero Heritage, a family-run steward of colored gemstones, today introduced two digital securities: EMRL.D, linked to The First Light, a collection of 136 natural cut emeralds, and RUBY.D, linked to The Deep Fire, a collection of 136 parcels of rubies. Each gemstone carries its own report from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Both collections are held by an independent vault depository in the United States.

EMRL.D is issued by Cahero Nytra Holding LLC and RUBY.D by Cahero Korva Holding LLC, two Delaware companies that have each filed an offering statement on Form 1-A with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Ownership of each security is recorded on a public blockchain instead of a paper certificate.

Each part of the record is open to independent review. Both offering statements are public on the SEC's EDGAR system. Each emerald's GIA report can be looked up by its report number, and every transfer of the securities is visible on the blockchain. CaheroHeritage.com sets out how each collection is examined, valued and held, and by whom.

The emerald and ruby collections carry appraised values of US$ 2.46 billion and US$ 2.35 billion respectively, according to independent appraisals dated 6 May 2026. A third collection, of sapphires valued at US$ 2.24 billion, is intended for an upcoming security.

“A security is only as serious as the people who stand behind it,” said Alfonso Cahero, founder of Cahero Heritage. “Digital assets have traded on sentiment alone, and the swing in pricing is what has kept institutions out. We anchor a token to real, appraised physical gemstone reserves, so its value starts with evidence, not mood. That is the third wave of digital assets, and I believe it will be built on things people can hold, verify and pass on.”

Tokenized real-world assets, a category that includes Treasury funds, private credit and gold, were valued at about $23.6 billion in March 2026, according to the data site DeFiLlama. McKinsey & Co. estimated in June 2024 that the market could reach about $2 trillion by 2030. Colored gemstones, an alternative asset long traded privately and priced out of public view, are among its newest arrivals. Tokenization gives them a public record of every transfer.

“These are institutional-grade renditions of an alternative asset that the mainstream investment market has not yet explored,” Cahero said. “We built them inside securities law, not around it.”
